Scope of Work

What a University Place interior renovation includes

Every remodel is scoped to your home, your written estimate lists exactly what's included. A sample of what we cover:

Whole-home and multi-room renovations managed under a single schedule
Open-concept conversions, including engineered beam work for load-bearing walls
Laundry rooms, mudrooms, and utility spaces with built-in cabinetry
Basement and bonus room finishing
Flooring replacement throughout: hardwood, LVP, and tile
Interior trim, doors, wainscoting, and millwork packages
Drywall, texture matching, and full interior paint
Permit management, inspections, and trade coordination from start to finish

Multi-room projects vary widely, a laundry room rebuild may take two weeks while a whole-home interior runs several months. Your estimate includes a phased timeline so you know what happens in which order, and which rooms stay livable.

Remodeled my kitchen and got it done a few days faster than expected, and it looks so nice now I can't wait to host people over.

★★★★★

Did an excellent job doing a complete renovation/remodel of our bathroom and repairing/replacing a portion of siding on house. Really listened to what I wanted for my dream bathroom and delivered A+.

Budget & Planning

What to expect on cost

Whole-interior work is where sequencing saves real money: doing flooring, paint, and trim in one mobilization costs meaningfully less than three separate projects. We'll show you the phased and combined pricing side by side.

Q & A

Questions, answered straight

Can you remove a load-bearing wall?

Yes. We confirm what the wall is carrying, work with the engineering required for the beam specification, pull the structural permit, and install temporary shoring during the swap. Open-concept conversions are routine for us, done correctly, with paperwork your future buyer's inspector will appreciate.

Do you handle design, or do I need a separate designer?

For most projects we handle design direction in-house, layouts, finishes, and material selections developed with you during the consultation phase. If you already work with an interior designer, we're happy to build to their drawings.

Can we live in the house during a whole-interior renovation?

Usually, yes, we phase the work room by room and keep a kitchen and bathroom functional whenever the floor plan allows. For full gut renovations we'll be straight with you about the weeks where moving out makes more sense.

Which University Place neighborhoods do you serve?

All of University Place, including Day Island, Chambers Bay area, Narrows, Sunset, plus the surrounding Pierce County area. We're about 20 minutes from our shop.
