What a Fircrest interior painting includes
Every remodel is scoped to your home, your written estimate lists exactly what's included. A sample of what we cover:
Most single rooms are painted in one to two days; a whole-home interior runs roughly one week depending on prep and trim work.
Remodeling Fircrest homes
Fircrest is a small, well-kept residential enclave surrounded by Tacoma, known for 1920s-1950s Tudors, brick ramblers, and tree-lined streets. The projects we see most are kitchen and bath remodels and interior updates that modernize classic homes without losing their period feel.
Permits: the City of Fircrest issues residential remodel permits through its Building department. We handle the entire permit process, applications, plan documents, and inspection scheduling, on every project.

What clients say when the dust settles
This company is fabulous! They helped me to create a perfect room from the open space. They worked within my budget. Hard workers. Conscientious. I already have my next project scheduled with them and have several others planned! I highly recommend DA Solutions! Thank you, Mauricio, Adam, Devon, Luiz, and team!
We had our patio converted into a sunroom at the end of 2025 and are pleased with the outcome. DA Interior Solutions did an outstanding job from start to finish. Their craftsmanship is top-notch, they used premium materials throughout, and they were incredibly attentive to every detail from inception to completion. The entire renovation was smooth and hassle-free. Devon and his team were professional, communicative, and clearly took pride in their work. The carpentry they did on our home is exceptional-you can tell they are about quality. We highly recommend DA Interior Solutions to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled team for their next home project. Thank-you Devon and crew!
They’re hardworking guys who clearly care about their customers and the quality of their work. We look forward to working with them again.
What to expect on cost
Interior painting price is mostly about prep and trim, not the paint itself. Walls in good shape go fast; heavy patching, ceilings, and detailed trim add time. We quote by room and surface so you see exactly where the labor goes.
Questions, answered straight
Do you prep, or just paint?
We prep first, always. Patching, sanding, caulking, and priming are what separate a paint job that lasts from one that peels and shows every flaw within a year. The prep is the work; the color is the easy part.
Can you paint over dark or problem walls?
Yes. Dark colors, stains, and previous bad jobs get primed correctly so the new color goes on even and true. We never rely on extra coats to hide what a coat of primer should fix.
How long before I can use the room?
Most paints are dry to the touch in a few hours and fully cured within a couple of weeks. We sequence the work so you can move back into finished rooms quickly while we work elsewhere.
Which Fircrest neighborhoods do you serve?
All of Fircrest, including Fircrest, Regents Park, near the Fircrest Golf Club, plus the surrounding Pierce County area. We're about 20 minutes from our shop.
Who handles remodel permits in Fircrest?
