What a Maple Valley new floors includes

Every remodel is scoped to your home, your written estimate lists exactly what's included. A sample of what we cover:

Hardwood: solid and engineered, site-finished or prefinished, with proper acclimation and moisture testing
Tile: porcelain, natural stone, and large-format, set on a properly prepped substrate
Luxury vinyl plank and laminate: waterproof, budget-friendly options for busy households
Subfloor repair, leveling, and moisture barriers so the finish floor lasts
Kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home floor replacement
Clean transitions between rooms and materials, with trim and thresholds finished to match
Demolition and haul-away of old flooring, including stubborn glued-down layers
Heated-floor systems coordinated with tile installs

Most single-room floors install in 2 to 4 days; whole-home replacements run one to two weeks depending on square footage and subfloor condition.

Local Knowledge

Remodeling Maple Valley homes

Maple Valley is a newer King County suburb of 1990s-2010s subdivision homes on wooded lots around Lake Wilderness and the Four Corners area. The common work here is opening up builder-grade floor plans and updating the first generation of kitchens and baths as these homes hit their twenties.

Permits: the City of Maple Valley issues residential remodel permits; some addresses route through King County plan review. We handle the entire permit process, applications, plan documents, and inspection scheduling, on every project.

Budget & Planning

What to expect on cost

Flooring cost comes down to material and how much subfloor prep the room needs. We measure precisely, account for waste and transitions, and give you a per-room estimate so you can mix materials, tile in the wet areas, vinyl in the basement, hardwood in the living spaces, where each makes the most sense.

Q & A

Questions, answered straight

Can you install over my existing floor?

Sometimes, but not always wisely. Floating floors can go over sound, flat surfaces, but tile and glue-down materials need the old flooring removed and the subfloor prepped. We check flatness and moisture first and tell you honestly whether an overlay will hold up or just trap a future problem.

Which flooring holds up best with kids and pets?

Luxury vinyl plank is the workhorse: waterproof, scratch-resistant, and warm underfoot. Porcelain tile is nearly indestructible in entries and bathrooms. We steer you toward the material that fits how the room actually gets used, not just how it looks in the showroom.

Do you move furniture and appliances?

Yes. We handle furniture, and we coordinate disconnecting and reconnecting appliances so the floor goes in cleanly underneath. You do not need to empty the house before we arrive.

Which Maple Valley neighborhoods do you serve?

All of Maple Valley, including Four Corners, Lake Wilderness, Summit Park, Rock Creek, plus the surrounding King County area. We're about 45 minutes from our shop.

Who handles remodel permits in Maple Valley?
